Valle de Guadalupe is located in Baja California, Mexico, and is part of the larger Baja California wine region. It’s specifically situated northeast of Ensenada, approximately 70 miles south of the U.S.-Mexico border. Known as the wine capital of Mexico, Valle de Guadalupe is renowned for its vineyards and wineries.
The Valle de Guadalupe is one of the valleys that make up the Wine Route, a route that encompasses the San Antonio Valley and the valleys of Ojos Negros, Santo Tomás, San Vicente, La Grulla, Tanamá, Las Palmas, and San Valentín in the former Wine Route.
In the Valle de Guadalupe, approximately 90% of all wines in Mexico are produced. Its area encompasses 10,000 hectares of cultivation, with around 72 wineries spread across its various valleys.
